Cassina, in partnership with Ginori 1735, launches the first collection by Formafantasma: Post Scriptum, a unique collection of hand-painted porcelain objects. Starting with the extensive Ginori Fabricating archives, the creative duo have selected some of the archetypal shapes and given them a contemporary facelift to fully
maximize the individuality expressed by the brand Made in Florence master painters.

The manual work of this collection consists of the “graffito” decorations in bisque porcelain obtained by direct firing at 1400°C., the graffiti is drawn on the surface with a black pigment and then set at 1230°C. The designs are entirely hand-drawn with special ceramics, chalk normally used to trace the contours of porcelain decorations.
In this case, the master painter uses it to paint the complete decoration of the object, instead of tracing its edges. The line becomes random, making each object unique, both in terms of the texture of the porcelain as well as the emotional dexterity with which it is made. The Post Scriptum collection includes a series of vases, two boxes and a candlestick with different motifs. Contemporary pieces that can stand alone or combine to create graphic compositions. Each piece is numbered by the artist who
decorated, bears the Cassina and Ginori 1735 logos. Post Scriptum leaves room for expression, adding something extra, a final note on the beauty of forms, from a message signed by the master painters.
