Vetra Pendant lamp

At first glance, Vetra couldn't be more than a traditional and old-fashioned blown glass lamp, but when you switch it on, you're in for a surprise. Joan Gaspar uses a fully enclosed glass diffuser as a reflector, and creatively places the light source outside - rather than inside - the lampshade. The Vetra emits more light than you'd expect, with no glare. A large part of the light is directed downwards and the remainder is filtered into the lampshade's interior, subtly illuminating it.

Like an echo that multiplies the light, when it's on, its entire outline is drawn and looks like come to life. This collection is proposed in different diameters (20, 32 and 43 cm) in white and amber, a color that further accentuates its relationship with light. A contrasting arrangement in which the lamp itself becomes more visible and its light - sheltered by these tones - warmer.
