This basket was designed by Marco Trimarchi. “La Stanza dello Scirocco” is a range of items suitable for different environments, such as the kitchen and the living room, born from the abstract and immobile atmosphere of a magical place: the bedroom of the great Sicilian country houses where one is forced to seek shelter from the heat while waiting for the sirocco to die. It's a windowless room in which you can do nothing but reflect on the wind that's tearing apart all sublunary things outside. The result is a collection of geometrically irregular items formed by small slivers of various sizes, intertwined in an unstable equilibrium.
