Herringbone vases are created by repeatedly dipping ceramic bowls and vases in a colored glaze. This process produces a pattern with an intrinsic logic determined by the dip angle as well as the shape and weight of the part. As the dyeing process is done entirely by hand, each bowl and vase in the Herringbone collection is a unique object.
